Kathleen:
Tonight was the last night of the Esther bible study, and my mind was fixed on you and your family. The few times I’ve spoken with you, it has been clear that you love the Lord and have surrendered your life to Him. Although we barely know each other, we are sisters. I vow to carry the burden with you through prayer. Over the past ten years I’ve walked through my own dark valley. I’ve known dark hours when I truly didn’t see God’s goodness or hand in my life. It was in those lonely times that He gave me the faith to trust Him, and I knew He was, in fact, right next to me.
In short, I’m praying for a miracle. I’m praying that Jessie’s cancer will disappear. I’m praying that the financial burden you’re experiencing will be lightened. I’m praying that you are getting rest. I’m praying that your son feels peace. I’m praying for the weariness that you and your husband must be feeling is lifted. I’m praying that you are feeling the presence of Almighty God in every area of your lives.
You probably have people around you for support. However, I invite you to write or call if you need ANYTHING. (Cell: 626-253-9350) I’m also forwarding your website to several prayer warriors. You are not alone in this.
Love in Christ,
Diana Thornton
Love and miss you, Jessie girl. I will carry you with me always. Thank you for all that you taught me and for the light that you shined upon my life. You are treasured.
