Please leave your thoughts about Jessie, how she has touched you, or your wishes for her here. Here are just a few of the many comments made by folks about Jessie:
Alex L. – Jessie Mastan is a strong willed person that is always filled with cheer and perseverance. She always asks for peace and love in the classrooms and she has brought it in classrooms when they lack these items. She is truly an amazing child of God. The reason for her kindness is unknown and the kindness has never waned, no matter the cause. Everyone in the school knows who she is because she is so kind. Everyone loves being around her because it is as if peer pressure doesn’t exist. She is a prodigy of life; one who knows the certain things in life. She understands what many people fail to understand. But rather than be rude and criticize other people for their lack of thankfulness, Jessie is always there to teach them of the great things. She is truly a joy to this world!

What do you have to say about Jessie?

Sweet Jessie and Family,
We heard about the international prayer chain and took it to heart. My daughter’s ninth grade class in another country are praying for you as well as all her teachers and her friends.
Jessie you are an inspiration… I’ve never met a girl like you who is so happy and cheery and who loves the Lord no matter the circumstances. Continue to fight Jessie, we are all praying for you.
I’m not sure if the Mastans remember me, but i certainly remember Jessie. I met Jessie when i was about 6 years old in elementary school. We became best friends, and she brought so much joy into my life. We played together every day at recess, and occasionally we went to each others houses to play.
Unfortunatly, after 3rd grade i had to leave the school we were attending because of financial reasons. I still kept in touch with Jessie though, and i continued to visit her up until about 5th grade, when i lost contact with her and her family. Jessie means so much to me, even though i havent seen her in about 5 years. Facebook allowed me to reconnect with her, but only for a short time, because of the cancer. I’ve been praying non-stop for her and her family, and ive gotten my church and school to pray too. I hope that God sends a miracle for this girl, because she is inspiration to everyone and has touched so many lives. I love you Jessie!!!! -Ali

Our hearts are broken for your loss and we pray that what little we can give will help ease your burden moving forward. Jessie certainly left an enduring mark on the lives of those she encountered. We feel honored to have been a small part of your prayer journey for Jessie. We continue to pray for your family as you live with the memories of Jessie in your heart and in the lives of those she so richly touched.
God Bless you all!

Davie, Cathleen, and Josh:
Today your faith in God ‘shouted’. I pray the Lord opens many more ears to hear. We are imagining the wings of the Holy Spirit surrounding you through your season of grief.
With Love,
Mr and Mrs C
I worked with Shannon at Arnold Elementary in Torrance, my daughter worked with Kathleen in PV. It is through my daughter, Jennifer that I first learned of your Jessie’s illness and struggle. Your Jessie was such a bright light in her lifetime. May her goodness shine forever and remind us of how precious each one of us is.
